A series of four three-hour workshops designed to give teachers an instructional foundation of computing. Teachers will be exposed to computer application basics, technology integration fundamentals, and complete an integrated technology project.

SESSION 1: WORD PROCESSING II
This session will focus on more advanced word processing skills including page layouts, margins, columns, rulers, tables, etc. Using electronic resources for data and information will be discussed, as well as how to copy and paste information.

SESSION 2: DESKTOP PUBLISHING II
This session focuses on developing desktop publishing skills to design a game board and game cards. Particular focus is given to the desktop publishing terminology.

Integration Exercise: Knowledge Quest

SESSION 3: DATABASES II
In this session, teachers will design a database to collect data that can be sorted and presented in a report presentation. Teachers will learn how to create a merged document using a database and a word processing document.

Integration Exercise: Environments

SESSION 4: MULTIMEDIA III
In this session, teachers will create a presentation in a �year in review� format. Each presentation will include; digital camera or scanned images, music and/or sounds, links, and transitions.
